About Jay

Jay started Jay Chubby Wedding and still leads its creative direction. The background is cinema, documentaries and visual storytelling, and it shows in how a wedding day gets approached: as a story in motion, where light, movement, sound and feeling all shape how the day is remembered.

Based in Adelaide and Melbourne and working across Australia, Jay looks for the moments that feel quietly cinematic without being staged, and makes films that feel personal rather than overly polished. If you write to us, Jay is usually the one who writes back.
