Layflat, from edge to edge

Each page is a rigid board, mounted back to back, so the album opens completely flat. A photograph can run across both pages with nothing lost in the fold, and the pages stay flat for years of looking through.

Questions about linen albums

How many linen colours are there?

27, from burlap, jute and stone grey to soft and deep blues, greens, blushes, violets, reds and black. Tap any of them above to see it as a cover.

Will the colour look like it does on screen?

Close, but every screen shows colour a little differently, and linen changes with the light in a room. If you are deciding between two, write to us and we will help you choose.

Which foils work on linen?

Gold, rose gold, copper, silver, gunmetal and black press cleanly into linen, and so does a blind pressing with no colour. White foil does not sit well in the weave, so we leave it out on linen.

Linen or leather?

Linen is the softer, quieter cover, matte to the touch, with the widest choice of colour, and it is the most gentle on the budget. Leather has more weight in the hand and takes a blind pressing beautifully.

Which size should we choose?

Most couples choose 10 × 10": big enough for a photograph to fill a spread, small enough for a shelf. 12 × 12" is made for the coffee table, and 8 × 8" sits on any bookshelf.

How long does a linen album take?

Once the pages are final, it is printed and bound by hand in Melbourne and reaches you about three weeks later.
